Prestonwood Landscape maintains safe limb clearance from the ground near all walkways to prevent the likelihood of a pedestrian injuring themselves while on property. As a part of our tree care, Prestonwood provides extensive tree pruning and removal services. We are also capable of reacting quickly to emergencies during storm conditions, and we work with property managers to ensure trees thrive without causing damage, blocking security cameras or exterior lighting.
We also work with structural engineers to ensure building foundations are not damaged by tree roots, and promptly provide estimates for correcting problems when they are identified.
Insect and disease treatments are included in our service contracts to ensure ongoing tree health. Finally, we recommend deep root fertilizations twice per year, and can perform them on request.

Landscape Tip
Planting a Tree. When you're ready to plant a new tree, follow the general rule of "plant high and wide, not deep." In other words, plant your tree so that the root ball is slightly higher than the surrounding soil. Also, do not pile dirt or mulch around the base of a newly planted tree. Instead, create a small ring around the edge of the root ball to help retain moisture.
